Sharjah24: The Expo Centre Sharjah has successfully concluded the 23rd National Career Exhibition and the 17th International Education Show 2021 (IES), which were hosted under the patronage of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
This year’s successful editions have further promoted the two events’ position as one of the most important exhibitions specialized in the field of higher education, employment and professional development.

A huge number of parents and students were seen flocking to the two events to learn more about the latest higher education programmes in disciplines of medicine, engineering, management and modern studies programs.

The IES was a perfect opportunity for students to dive deeply into the admission requirements of national and international universities, where more than 75 local and foreign educational and academic institutions showcased various education programs and a wide range of learning options.

The National Career Exhibition saw the participation of more than 30 national companies, government and private entities, which sought to attract Emirati talents through the provision of several outstanding career opportunities.

"We are pleased with the overwhelming success of both exhibitions whether in terms of the high turnout of visitors or the wide participation of government and private agencies and major educational institutions," said His Excellency Saif Mohamed Al Midfa, CEO, Expo Centre Sharjah.

Al Midfa underlined that this success clearly reflects the growing position of the two events as a distinctive platform for showcasing a variety of university services before students, in addition to their role in facilitating the employment, training and development of skills of Emirati youth.

A number of parents commended the IES's role in providing an exceptional opportunity for students to carefully choose their academic and professional future in light of the presence of many educational and academic institutions under one roof.

Visitors of the National Career Exhibition considered this event as one of the best ways to learn about the needs and requirements of the labor market, in view of the so many job opportunities offered by the participating entities and institutions.
