HQA organises graduation ceremony for its students in Africa

Sharjah 24: The Holy Quran Academy (HQA) in Sharjah graduated the second batch of its African students, who memorised the Holy Qur'an through several Qiraat "recitations." There were 73 graduates from 41 African countries in this batch. The academy is currently active in 118 countries, with students from every continent.
On the 17th of Ramadan, the academy held the inaugural batch's graduation ceremony in Sharjah, under the patronage and presence of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

At the time, 87 male and female students from the Emiratis and other neighbouring nations were graduated.

Sheikh Sherzad Abdul Rahman Taher, the Academy;s Secretary-General, honoured the representatives of the Quranic schools and the Quranic Society in Kenya. He then presented the graduates with their certificates as well as their Muqri licences.

In a speech at the ceremony, Sheikh Sherzad Taher stated that the Academy's activities have reached most countries around the world thanks to God Almighty’s and the unending support, generous care, and direct and diligent oversight of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi.
