3 Initiatives in Eid Al Fitr to bring happiness to needy families

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Police General Command, represented by the Punitive and Correctional Establishment, in collaboration with the General Department of Correctional and Punitive Institutions, Sharjah Charity International, and Emirates Post-Care Society launched three initiatives aiming at helping and supporting the needy families of the Establishment inmates during Eid Al Fitr.
Brigadier General Ahmed Abdulaziz Shuhail, Director of the Punitive and Correctional Establishment at Sharjah Police said that the three initiatives were launched in collaboration with strategic partners, whereas the first initiative aimed to distribute Fawalat El Eid, amounting to 118 thousand dirhams, to (59) needy families of the Establishment inmates. Brigadier Suhail added that Sharjah Charity International stepped in, in the second initiative, to distribute (30) purchasing coupons amounting to 15 thousand dirhams. The third initiative provided newborn of the Establishment inmates with all their needs. 

Brigadier Shuhail added that the three initiatives come in line with the Ministry of Interior strategy, and the directives of Major General Saif Al-Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, seeking to dissiminate the culture of supporting the families of the Establishment inmates.  

Brigadier Suhail pointed to initiatives and programmes implemented by the Punitive and Correctional Establishment in cooperation with partners, to support the inmate's families, in addition to instill reassurance and comfort by providing them with financial and moral support, positively reflected on inmates’ acceptance for reform and rehabilitation programmes.

Brigadier Suhail concluded by praising Sharjah Charity International, and Emirates Post-Care Society support for their noble solidarity supporting the Establishment inmates.
