Sharjah24: The Sharjah Women's Sports Club (SWSC) have made major breakthroughs in sport fencing,in cooperation with UAE Fencing Federation, with the presence of 25 female players out of 47 players for the UAE national team, who entered the internal camp at the present time in prep-aration for the upcoming regional and global championships. The number of female players who practice fencing in the club dedicated to women's sports is 45 female players of all ages.

Commenting on this, Her Excellency Nada Askar Al Naqbi, Director General of Sharjah Women's Sports Foundation has praised the contribution of this sport to the players’ skills, highlighting the safety of its procedures during the current Corona virus. She has further lauded the distinguished efforts of  Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Rul-er of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, to sponsor talented indi-viduals for individual games, especially the Olympic Games.
