SDPW completes maintenance works of 37 swimming pools

The maintenances project came in line with the keenness of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to support youth and sports clubs and develop the sports sector 

Engineer Ali bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Sharjah Directorate of Public Works (SDPW) stated that the department supervised the maintenance works of 37 swimming pools in several clubs in the Emirate of Sharjah and signed a contract with a leading company to complete the maintenance work including maintenance of filters and pumps, following up the quality of swimming pool water, maintaining the sanitary level of its quality, determining the percentage of sterile materials, and determining the safety of swimming water in order to preserve safe environment to its users according to internationally approved specifications.
