Sharjah24 – Reuters: Unemployment has continued to rise during Austria's coronavirus lockdown, which began a week ago, Labour Minister Christine Aschbacher told a weekly news conference on Tuesday on the country's jobless figures.
"The health situation is the highest priority and has direct effects on our job market. We see that also this week in the unemployment figures," she said, adding that the number of job-seekers had risen by about 5,300 to 448,792. Of those, 382,135 were registered as unemployed and the rest were in training.
