Sharjah 24: Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) in collaboration with the Ministry of Community Development hosted the virtual introductory workshop on the wellbeing, where Her Excellency Hessa Bint Essa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development gave a speech, within the Council role in communicating with different government departments, sectors and institutions in the UAE.

The workshop was attended by Her Excellency Moza Al Akraf Al Swaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Community Development, His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Council, His Excellency Ali Mehad Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, His Excellency Sheikh Faisal Bin Saud Al Qasimi, Director of Sharjah Airport Authority, Her Excellency Nada Askar Al Naqbi, General Manager of Sharjah Women's Sports Foundation, His Excellency Tariq Saeed Allay Al Naqbi, Director of Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB), His Excellency Khalid Bin Butti Al Hajri, Director General of the University City, His Excellency Taleb Abdullah Al Yahyai, Director of Dibba Al Hisn Municipality, in addition to 100 representatives of government departments and institutions representing 43 different authorities.

The workshop tackled the national strategy for wellbeing 2020-2031, and stressed that the UAE is leader in quality of life, combatting the different challenges such as COVID-19. The workshop also confirmed that the UAE is keen to improve the community lifestyle and to implement programmes and projects within the National Program for Happiness and Wellbeing.

Her Excellency Hessa Bint Essa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development confirmed that the UAE exerts efforts to promote the wellbeing concept, to implements programmes and initiatives supporting happiness and wellbeing for all, in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah that helped to realise more achievements in Sharjah.

His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Council conveyed the greeting of Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and extended his thanks to Her Excellency Hessa Bint Essa Buhumaid for her participation in the fruitful workshop that helped to exchange visions and views; in addition to support joint efforts; and seek to improve the wellbeing of all community members.
