Sharjah24 – Reuters: A Cygnus cargo craft loaded with scientific instruments including an oven and other crew supplies launched to the International Space Station (ISS) from Wallops Island, Virginia on Saturday (November 2).
The oven, along with baking ingredients, are expected to be used to make chocolate chip cookies -- and examine the impact that high heat and zero gravity might have on the shape and consistency of the sweet treat. The experiment is just one of a dozen experiments the astronauts will conducting, space.com reported.

Mounted to an Antares rocket, the cargo craft lifted off at 0959 ET (1359 GMT) Saturday.

The space craft is carrying 8,200 lbs (3,700 kilograms) in cargo and is expected to reach the ISS on Monday (November 4) at 0410 ET (0910 GMT).
