Sharjah24 – Reuters: A puff of fresh air is all what the Indian capital New Delhi is gasping for over the last 15-20 days as air quality is hovering from 'poor' to 'severe plus' category since late October.
Although its effects are unproven, middle-aged and elderly residents were flocking to 'Oxygen bar', that is offering the city a 15-minute session to inhale an cocktail of oxygen in different flavours, for 500 rupees ($7).

Introduced in New Delhi in June, it's proven a hit in recent weeks with the choking pollution.

The air quality was once again in 'severe' category on Friday (November 15), as the PM 2.5 pollution levels at 09.00 am (GMT 0330) were recorded at 680 on air quality index of the U.S. embassy. Air quality at "severe" levels can seriously impact those with existing diseases and also affect healthy people, according to government guidance.
