Critically endangered baby gorilla born in Brazil zoo

Sharjah 24 – AFP: Lou Lou, a western lowland gorilla born in the United Kingdom, has given birth to a daughter at the Belo Horizonte Zoo in Brazil. The baby is the fourth of this species - considered critically endangered - to be born in the zoo, and has yet to be named.
Lou Lou lives at the Belo Horizonte Zoo, in Brazil, since 2003. Lou Lou's baby was born on July 8, 2019.
The baby gorilla, daughter of Lou Lou and Leon, is the fourth of this species -considered critically endangered- to be born in this zoo.

Belo Horizonte Zoo is the only South American Zoo where this species breeds.

The name for the baby gorilla will be decided by popular vote, it can be Anaya, Maisha or Gimbya.
