Sharjah 24 – WAM: Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, highlighted the importance of launching joint charity and humanitarian projects to enhance the UAE’s international stature as a leading international donor of humanitarian aid and a model of tolerance, based upon the legacy of the Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
He made this statement during a meeting of the foundation’s board of trustees that was held at its headquarters in Abu Dhabi, which was attended by board member’s Abdulrahman Al Qamzi, Musbah Al Mazrouei and Mohammed Khalfan Al Dhaheri, along with Hamad Salem bin Kardous Al Ameri, Director-General of the Foundation.

"Since its establishment, the foundation has contributed to the country’s charity and humanitarian efforts, through implementing various projects and programmes both inside and outside of the country, in line with its goal to become a leading international charity organisation, while reflecting the heritage of the late Sheikh Zayed in helping the needy without discrimination in terms of race, sex, religion or colour. The foundation is spreading the message of goodness and humanity, and is helping the needy around the world," said Sheikh Nahyan.

During the meeting, Sheikh Nahyan and the board’s members reviewed the foundation’s achievements in 2018, including the launch of many international humanitarian and charitable projects.

The board’s members also reviewed the foundation’s new official branding, which was launched under the theme, "Sustainable Giving," which includes an innovative logo design that reflects the foundation’s ethos. They also viewed the foundation’s new website and smart phone application, which is available on Android and iPhones.
