Sharjah24: Brigadier Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, explained that first aid is of great importance in speeding up the response time to emergency situations and increasing the rate of saving lives, stressing the keenness of the Sharjah Police and its endeavor to provide its cadres with the necessary skills and techniques at the highest levels.
This came during the specialised training workshop entitled "Advanced First Aid". Brigadier Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer added that this initiative comes as a sense of the national and societal duty, as it translates the leadership's continuous efforts in researching the best means and techniques used in the world, to ensure the health and the safety of community members.

The workshop is a distinction to the police force responsible for the protection and security of the various activities in the Emirate of Sharjah by using a special bag containing simple materials that enable them to deal with cases temporarily, until the arrival of ambulances.

Colonel Ashour Sabt bin Ashour, Director of the Special Tasks Department of Sharjah Police, explained that the workshop dealt with the importance of first aid, the types of cases that require immediate and temporary first aid, which an individual receives as a result of sudden exposure to an emergency health condition.

The Director of the Special Tasks Department of Sharjah Police said: “A presentation was made about ambulance bag “IFAK” for field aid and its uses, which is characterized by being an integrated bag in hand, sufficient to save two people, and is characterized by ease and speed in use during the accident.
