Sharjah 24: Dr. Majid Bushalibi, Secretary General of the Sharjah Islamic Forum (SIF), declared the opening of the activities of the scientific session that aims to strengthen community engagement and Sharia sciences according to its sober and straightforward perspective, and to raise awareness of the requirements of understanding the Sunnah sciences and following its noble humanitarian principles. The session is broadcasted via the SIF’s social media platforms.
He said that, under the directives and patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the cultural tendency of the Emirate, the SIF has offered many programmes and courses through virtual space and communication channels since 2005, in parallel with the programmes organised in mosques and in the SIF headquarters.

He added that during the last quarter of this year, more than 14 programmes will be launched in the fields of Islamic culture, hadith studies, interpretation, Quran and Quranic studies, in addition to the launch of a specialised scientific course about Quranic studies and jurisprudence, which will start on Saturday through SIF’s accounts.

The Secretary General of the SIF continued that 400 - 500 participants are registered in each programme, and the SIF will print no less than 12 publications in the fields of scientific studies before the end of this year, which will be published on the SIF new website to keep pace with the technical development and recent changes.

Bushalibi affirmed that all the scientific programmes of the SIF and its Islamic cultural activities are re-circulated, re-broadcast and re-published in one way or another in the Islamic world, which is a translation of the correct scientific approach that the SIF has been keen to follow since its establishment, according to the incisive cultural vision of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah in positioning the emirate as a destination and source for scholars, an abundant knowledge base for learners, and a resource for Sharia sciences and Islamic studies.
