Sharjah24: The Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD) is considered as one of the first governmental entities in the Emirate of Sharjah, and over the years it was been contributing to the development of the emirate with its vital services.
Named firstly as “Real Estate Registration Office”, the department was first established by Law number 10 of 1972, a first of its kind on national level.

To achieve its purposes, the department set its vision to providing the best protection for the rights of property owners and quality registration services with integrated real estate interest of our employees.

The department provides its services in the field of real estate dealings, in addition to documenting, editing and saving data, as well as protect the rights of property owners in the Emirate of Sharjah.

The department specialises in preparing proposals, reports, studies and legal research, and communicate with some external institutions (such as banks and judicial authorities, departments, institutions and government authorities, companies and individuals), and resolution of disputes through reconciliation between parties through laws and regulations granted to the department.

Despite the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, SRERD is committed to provide its services to the public in a smooth and efficient manner. The department has allowed its employees to work remotely from home instead of coming to the department offices.

In addition to online services, the head office and all branches across the emirate of Sharjah have been thoroughly disinfected to maintain the health and safety of all staff and clients as the department spares no effort to ensure an uninterrupted flow of customers’ transactions.
