Sharjah 24: In light of the precautionary measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus, Sharjah Charity International (SCI) carried out the seventh mass wedding, without a ceremony, in which distributions of the wedding rewards to its beneficiaries, amounting to 2.1 million dirhams was only implemented.
Abdullah Mubarak Al Dukhan, SCI’s Secretary General, highlighted that within the continuity of charitable work in a manner that does not contradict preventive and precautionary measures, all projects of SCI that were suspended earlier are to be continued.

The SCI’s Secretary General pointed out that the goal of implementing the wedding project is to enable young people to complete their marriages,  without any fears of accumulating debt, with the aim of enhancing their loyalty towards serving their country.

Al Dukhan clarified that SCI’s charitable work is constantly expanding, especially in times of crisis, calling the benefactors to support SCI in order to be able to help the needy and those who deserve aid.
