Sharjah 24: In line with its policy and incessant endeavour to extend bridges of cooperation and enhance its role in communicating with the various institutions and bodies to achieve its goals of supporting special segments consistent with the Ministry of Interior’s strategic objective to enhance security and safety, a delegation from the Sharjah Police’s Social Support Centre visited the Emirates Association of the Visually Impaired.
Headed by Lieutenant Colonel Mona Suroor, the delegation was received by Adel Al Zumar, Chairman of the Association and other members.

Colonel Suroor said that the visit stems from Sharjah Police’s keenness to strengthen cooperation and communication with the visually impaired as they are an important component of the society. She added that the visit also aims to acquaint the impaired with the services rendered by the Centre.

Al Zumar commended the attention Sharjah Police pays to this segment of the society and its role in facilitating communication between the two sides, as well as all the services the Centre delivers to the visually impaired.

First Lieutenant Tali’a Al Sa’di delivered a lecture in which she highlighted the Centre’s role in providing protection and support for the visually impaired segment against all forms of harm.
