Sultan Al Qasimi visits ‘Splendid Archaeology of Kuwait’ at SAM

Sharjah24 – WAM: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, visited on Tuesday “The Splendid Archaeology of Kuwait” exhibition held at Sharjah Archaeological Museum in collaboration with the Kuwaiti National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL).
His Highness toured the exhibition halls where he listened to the detailed explanations of the exhibited rare artefacts that come from various archaeological sites in Kuwait and date back to the period between the sixth millennium BC and the first century.

The exhibited artefacts showcase the daily life activities of the settlers of these sites and eras.

Archaeological sites in Kuwait include residential settlements, burials, temples, workshops, and temporary camps.

The exhibition runs until 16 Apr 2020.
