SEC values Sharjah Ruler’s 4400 housing grants

Sharjah24: Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) thanked His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, for His Highness grant by providing 4400 housing grants to citizens of the Emirate of Sharjah, which His Highness had directed last week in addition to allocating 4765 residential plots, in order to ensure the stability of the Emirati family and support the citizen to ensure a decent and stable life.
This came during the weekly meeting of SEC, which was held this morning Tuesday, chaired by Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council, in the presence of Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, deputy Chairman of the SEC at the Ruler’s Office in Sharjah.

The Council commended the continuous follow-up of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah for all affairs of the emirate and his keenness to provide all services for new generations, in addition to His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah support for various economic, tourism and other sectors.

The Council blessed the launching of the first ordinary session of the tenth legislative chapter of the Sharjah Consultative Council, which will contribute, in cooperation with various authorities and supporting government action, delivered community voice and issues, and proposing more legal legislation.

After approving the minutes of the previous session, the Council reviewed the study submitted by the Department of Statistics and Community Development in cooperation with the General Command of Sharjah Police under “Our Society is Safe” campaign in the Emirate of Sharjah.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Statistics and Community Development, said that the study reached a result of 99% to feel generally safe among all those surveyed during the study.

The Council discussed a draft law on social welfare in the emirate of Sharjah and directed its referral to the Consultative Council in order to complete its legislative session.

The Council reviewed the analytical study of the health insurance system for the third quarter of 2019, His Excellency Abdullah Ali Al Mahyan, Chairman of the Sharjah Health Authority (SHA) reviewed the most important comparisons between indicators of health insurance from the numbers of beneficiaries and utilization ratios from all the insurance groups within the health insurance system in the Sharjah government.

The Council also issued Decision No. (39) for the year 2019 regarding the announcement and promotion of governmental, semi-governmental activities, services or products in the Emirate of Sharjah, In accordance with the decision, all central, semi-governmental and independent government agencies, companies that the government contributes to or is wholly owned by, and private companies contracting with the government have to obtain the approval of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB) to contract, whether with or without pay, with any of the pioneers and influencers of social media on any of its activities or services or its products, provided that SGMB should issues the necessary administrative decisions to implement the provisions of the decision.

The Council issued Decision No. (40) for the year 2019 to restructure the Land Allocation Committee in the Emirate of Sharjah, and the decision stipulated that the Land Allocation Committee in the Emirate of Sharjah shall be formed under the Chairmanship of Waleed Falah Al Mansouri and membership of 10 members.

Concluding the meeting by issued Decision No. (41) for 2019 to restructure the Compensation Committee in the Emirate of Sharjah, and the decision stipulated that the Compensation Committee in the Emirate of Sharjah be formed under the Chairmanship of Abdulaziz Ahmed Shames Al Quraidi and the membership of 8 members.
