The Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) has provided more than 6,235 technical and administrative consultations to property owners, investors, developers, engineering consultancy offices and construction companies since the beginning of this year until the end of last September.
The number of consultations has increased considerable as compared to 4458 in 2018. The initiative has saved more than 339 thousand kVA of electrical loads required.

Dr. Eng. Rashid Al Leem, Chairman of Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA), said that the Authority continues to activate the innovative initiative launched under the slogan "Consult Me Before You Start" and provide all the necessary capabilities to continue, due to the great results achieved through the consultations provided by it through contributing to reducing loads.

The initiative comes as part of the Authority's efforts to provide the best services to the citizens and residents of the Emirate of Sharjah in accordance with the best international standards.

He pointed out that the Authority, with the full support and continuous follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, who attaches great importance to providing the best services to subscribers, diversifying energy sources, protecting the environment from carbon emissions and taking all the measures that achieve its strategic vision as a working method to provide smart services, save time and effort, simplify procedures, and reduce the time to endorse projects’ designs and plans by 50% processing transactions within 5 minutes.

For her part, Mariam Obaid Bin Hashim, Director of Services in SEWA said that the initiative, which was launched in 2015, has achieved great success this year in providing consultancy to clients and recommended the best power-saving solutions.
