Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Children, a subsidiary of Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, will host the "Al Sana’" programme from 18-24 August, in cooperation with Sharjah Institute for Heritage and its branch in Al Dhaid and Al Mleiha Ladies Club.
The programme, which targets 25 boys and girls from the Central Region children centres, included workshops on “Sana'” (Emirati customs and traditions), where children learned in theory about the concept of Sana’, which is the daily life behaviour of individuals in the UAE society, which enjoys family solidarity and interdependence, as well as the way of dealing in social relations in general.

The programme also focused on the values, customs and traditions of the UAE society, inherited from parents and grandparents. Participants also learned about the art of etiquette, the rules that regulate the behaviour of individuals during their daily dealings.

On the practical side, the children were trained on how to preserve traditions and customs of the UAE society.
