Sharjah 24 – KUNA: The Iraqi health ministry announced on Thursday that 45 cases passed away as a result of COVID-19, raising the total confirmed cases, including those in the northern region of Kurdistan, to 337,106.
Baghdad, had the largest number of cases with 155, Wasit 446, Basra 398 and the rest are in 14 other governorates, said a ministry statement.

The ministry indicated that it also recorded 45 deaths from the virus, including five deaths in Baghdad and the rest in other 14 governorates, while 3,773 cases from 18 governorates have recovered.

The total death toll amounted to 8,799 and 268,761 cases were recovered from COVID-19, it added.
