Sharjah 24: In a bid to maintain continuity and excellence in maritime sports, the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club announced the signing of a sponsorship agreement for the Sharjah Sailing Team, aiming to represent the club in all local, regional, and international sporting events and championships.

Sheikh Fahim Bin Sultan bin Khalid Al Qasimi, Director of the Sharjah Sailing Team, and Khalid Jasim Saif Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club (SIMSC), signed the agreement in the presence of the head of the Sharjah Sports Council and the club's general manager at Beit Al Hikmah in Sharjah.

The agreement aims to support and develop local sporting talents in the field of sailing, in addition to providing the necessary financial and logistical resources to train players and improve their performance.

The agreement will further enhance the club's position as a leading sports development centre in the region."
