The game saw an early goal from Al Jazira's Ali Mabkhout in the 12th minute, followed by Fabio Lima equalising for Al Wasl in the 55th minute. Al Wasl then took the lead with Adama Diallo's goal in the 63rd minute, only for Bruno de Oliveira to equalise for Al Jazira in the 79th minute.

In another match, the Emirates and Al Wahda played to a goalless draw at the Emirates Club Stadium in Ras Al Khaimah. This result sees the Emirates rise to 11 points in thirteenth place, while Al Wahda maintains fourth place with 35 points.
