Sharjah24: Al Kharrus Suburb Council, has launched "Safe Return" initiative to clean up the suburb from the rain that fell last week , in collaboration with residents, volunteer organizations, and government institutions.

This initiative comes in response to the emergency situation caused by a recent unstable weather condition, resulting in heavy rainfall in the area in order to promote community solidarity and cooperation.  His Excellency Juma Abdullah Al Mughni, the council chairman, along with council members, participated in the cleaning initiative.

The "Safe Return" initiative highlights the role of suburban councils in enhancing communication between local entities and the community, and encouraging active citizen participation in improving their local environment and enhancing its services through the development of volunteering and natural restoration.

The efforts of the initiative included comprehensive cleaning operations of streets and affected neighborhoods, in close cooperation with the Sharjah Volunteering Center, affiliated with the Sharjah Social Services Department .

Juma Abdullah Al Mughni, the Chairman of Al Kharrus Suburb Council, emphasized the importance of this step in launching the "Safe Return" initiative, which reflects solidarity and collective spirit in terms of achieving the suburb's goals in promoting cohesion, volunteer work development, as well as preserving community health. He noted that it is not just a cleaning campaign, but an expression of social responsibility towards the environment, serving the residents, and emphasizing everyone's commitment to maintaining cleanliness and aesthetics in the Al Kharrus area.

Al Mughni highlighted the importance of this initiative, which witnessed significant cooperation and great national enthusiasm from the residents of Al Kharrus Suburb in participating and contributing to making their region better and overcoming the effects of the rain.
