Sharjah24: Sharjah Municipality has affirmed its readiness to deal with expected weather fluctuations and conditions. Supervised and monitored by its team of committee heads, supervisors, engineers, technicians, and workers, the municipality ensures the provision of all necessary equipment and the elevation of emergency readiness in response to weather developments. This is to promptly and professionally address any arising situation in accordance with pre-established plans by the High Committee for Rain Emergencies and its affiliated teams and committees.

The municipality has clarified that it has provided mobile tanks, pumps, equipment, heavy and light machinery, and has heightened the readiness level of the communication centre to handle emergency cases, especially as the current weather conditions are accompanied by high-speed winds, as reported by relevant authorities in the country.

The Municipality urges engineering consulting companies and contractors to exercise caution and vigilance at construction sites. It emphasises the importance of securing tower cranes and ensuring site safety measures are in place due to the expected high-speed winds.
